Thankfulness Thursday Week 39 of 2014 OOPS! it is Saturday

Today is September 27th

Today I am thankful for the cooler morning. I opened the house this morning and let the cool air come in (free air conditioning). I am also thankful for the natural ways we have been fighting allergies and ailments. We have been using doTERRA essential oils since March and are learning as we go. If you would like more information about doTERRA or essential oils leave a comment or email me at

Have a great week.

Thankfulness Thursday Week 38 of 2014

Today is September 18th.

Today I am thankful for a new (to me) Bible Study that I am attending with my sis-in-law. It is on my favorite book of the Bible. Ruth. Here is the book we are working through:

The Girls Still Got it.

One of the other things I am thankful for today is it is our monthly sister dinner tonight. Woo Hoo!! Girl time.

Have a great week. Next week will be Fall hard to believe already.

Thankfulness Thursday Week 37 of 2014

Today is September 11th.

Today I am thankful for our God who is in control. As we remember what happened thirteen years ago on this day. I pray we also remember that God has a plan and He will prevail.

Psalm 91

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
    will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
    my God, in whom I trust.”
 Surely he will save you
    from the fowler’s snare
    and from the deadly pestilence.

He will cover you with his feathers,

    and under his wings you will find refuge;
    his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
 You will not fear the terror of night,
    nor the arrow that flies by day,

nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,

    nor the plague that destroys at midday.
 A thousand may fall at your side,
    ten thousand at your right hand,
    but it will not come near you.

You will only observe with your eyes

    and see the punishment of the wicked.
 If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
    and you make the Most High your dwelling,
 no harm will overtake you,
    no disaster will come near your tent.

For he will command his angels concerning you

    to guard you in all your ways;

they will lift you up in their hands,

    so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

You will tread on the lion and the cobra;

    you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
 “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
    I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
    I will be with him in trouble,
    I will deliver him and honor him.
 With long life I will satisfy him
    and show him my salvation.

Thankfulness Thursday Week 36 of 2014

Today is September 4th.

Today I am thankful that the hubby has a job. He told me yesterday that he would be trying to get another part-time job to help pay down debt and to help pay for our son wanting to be in indoor drumline. It is hard for me. I want him to be patient as we are slowly able to pay down debt. Our family wants the time with him.

At least he has a job as there are still others trying to recover from the recession STILL. It is hard.

God is good and we thank him for his provisions.
